THE CASEY JR RIDE

Gegründet 2015 in Mannheim veröffentlichte The Casey Jr. Ride bereits 2016 das Debüt “Heliocentric View”.
Beeindruckt von der Verspieltheit der einflussreichen Genre der 60er-Jahre bewegt sich die Band musikalisch
zwischen treibenden Velvet-Rhythmen und hallender Irrfahrt.
Zu ihren bisherigen Liveauftritten zählen unter anderem das Maifeld Derby mit Dinosaur Jr., White Fence und
Kadavar, Support von Mystic Braves im Zoom Frankfurt, sowie Closing Act für das Klinke Festival Stuttgart.
Ende 2017 erschien das zweite Album „ERROR #404”, das wie folgt beschrieben wurde:
“While this album still retains some of the surf rock elements seen in Heliocentric View, ERROR #404 is a lot
darker and emotionally charged than their previous album. It sounds dreamy-veering towards nightmarish,
psychedelic, raw and soulful all at the same time – it doesn’t disappoint. If Kurt Cobain was born a German poet
yielding a tambourine and singing about the trials and tribulations of life, he would be The Casey Jr. Ride.”
